Responsible for the daily maintenance of the campus telephone equipment, cabling and associated applications.
Associate's degree and three years of related experience to the Telecommunications industry or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus in depth knowledge of TIA/EIA 568 standards and excellent written and oral communications skills required. Must have a strong background and knowledge of the standards and design of telecommunications infrastructure, pathways, telecommunications room spacing and layout, grounding, fire-stopping and cabling. Working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office and Visio or AutoCAD computer software, and possess project cost estimation and budgeting skills also desired.
