The Urology Advanced Practice Provider will serve in both an Inpatient and Outpatient roll providing care to patients at the Upstate University Hospital Downtown Campus and 550 Harrison Urology Office. The APP will work collaboratively with the Urological Team to provide care to the Urological and Urological Surgical patients.
Responsibilities will include:
As an APP, you will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to Upstate’s mission, vision, and values, while adhering to all institutional policies and procedures.
Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
NYS Licensed/Registered NP or PA.
Current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice.
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Have a NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.
CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
Must successfully pass pre-employment and credentialing clearances.
2 years of Inpatient/Outpatient experience.
Urological/Urological Procedure experience Preferred.
Monday- Friday day / evenings with weekend rotation.
