The equipment aspect of responsibility changes to an increased technical level. The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is expected to provide guidance in troubleshooting and to assist fellow technicians with trouble shooting and repairs.
AAS in Electrical or other Engineering discipline or Military training/experience plus 3 years as a Biomedical technician or a BS in Biomedical Engineering or other Engineering discipline plus 1 year experience as a Biomedical Technician. Received training and demonstrates competency on servicing at least 5 complex electronic or electro-mechanical patient care devices or systems. *Candidates with an Associate’s degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or completion of an equivalent training program plus 3 years of clinical engineering experience or candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or other Engineering discipline and 1 year of experience in clinical engineering experience will be considered. We are considering Spring 2025 graduates for this position.
Minimum of 1 year as a Clinical Engineering intern
