Job Summary:
- Optimize teaching methods for instructors with a student focus
- Available for AHA class management and teach if necessary
- Continued equipment support and maintenance
- Understand trends in adult learning/training and create presentations to peers
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 2 Years EMS experience and 2 years education in a medical setting or similar experience.
- Must be qualified to be a BLS instructor within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge and experience in working with AHA
- Experience in Word, Excel, and Power Point or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills
- People/problem solving skills and diplomacy
- Must be able to lift a 50 lb. manikin
- Knowledge of data bases or data base management
- Basic repair skills of equipment
- Bachelor's or higher level degree preferred
Self scheduling with some restrictions start times for classes can be as early as 7:00 a.m. A few classes each year will start at 4:00 p.m. ending about 8:00 p.m.
