Job Summary:
Will provide oversight of Downtown, 550, and Community Campus education for Sterile Processing. Responsible for education and orientation development, planning and implementation. Also will monitor and report quality outcomes within the department and to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree and 3 years surgical technology or sterile processing experience in a healthcare related setting (preferably acute care) or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of surgical instrumentation/equipment and sterile processing equipment/processes essential. Certification as a sterile processing technician strongly preferred. If not certified as a sterile processing technician, will be required to obtain within 18 months of hire date. Previous supervisory and administrative experience helpful.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with education and quality improvement/assurance and monitoring preferred.
Work Days:
Mon-Fri Days Holidays and weekends rotating based on departmental needs
