State University of New York Upstate Medical University
Graduation from an accredited 2-year allied health program and two years of post-graduate experience or graduate of an accredited vascular/ultrasound program, with the equivalent vascular experience and active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
Must have solid knowledge base of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and pathology and how it relates to non-invasive vascular testing. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of two years' experience post internship performing vascular ultrasounds is preferred however, new grads with strong skills will be considered as well as general sonographers interested in cross-training. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Work Days:Monday through Friday daytime hours
