This individual is responsible for driving key initiatives, enhancing organizational alignment, and supporting the overall effectiveness of executive leadership. The role combines strategy, operations, and executive-level communications with oversight of high-impact projects and external partnerships to advance the health systems mission and long-term goals. As Chief of Staff in a public hospital, individual must also navigate public accountability, budget constraints, unionized environments, and community engagement.

-Healthcare systems expertise (delivery models, regulations, reimbursement)

-Business and financial analysis
-Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and consensus-building skills
-Masters degree in health administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or related field required
-5 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, health system management, or external affairs within a complex healthcare organization
-Proven track record of executing large-scaled initiatives and fostering high-level partnerships
-Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
-Experience working directly with C-level executives
-Background in healthcare consulting, strategy, project management, or operations
-Proven success leading enterprise-wide or cross-functional initiatives
-Knowledge of healthcare-specific regulatory and compliance frameworks
-Professional writing or executive communications experience
Monday-Fridays, days in between hours of 7:00am-5:00pm
This is an onsite position, based in Syracuse, NY. The salary range for this position is $175,000-$225,000, dependent on qualifications.
