Job Summary:
Provide database administration and end-user support for all Upstate IMT-hosted MS SQL Server and Oracle databases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to installation, configuration, networking, monitoring, implementing security for, documenting, and providing backup and data protection for all databases. Troubleshoot, analyze, and improve system performance and other database problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus three years relevant database administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills required. Candidate should be able to demonstrate initiative, customer orientation, and teamwork competencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Database administrative experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare industry, application development, and software installation desirable. Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix are also desired.
Work Days:
First shift 8A-4:30P some flex available
