Job Summary:
As a vital member of the laboratory team, you will primarily serve in Histology, playing a key role in uncovering the answers behind patient diagnoses. Your work will directly impact lives, whether you're preparing critical tissue samples, operating advanced lab instruments, or ensuring each specimen is handled with precision and care. You may also rotate through other lab areas, supporting essential patient care testing and assist in digital scanning as needed. From processing samples to maintaining quality control and upholding strict safety standards, your attention to detail and dedication to excellence will help drive accurate, life-changing results every day.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Histo Technician, Clinical lab Technician. *Candidates with less than 2 years clinical lab experience or with a NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary. Must be able to distinguish colors for the purposes of performing laboratory tests
