State University of New York Upstate Medical University
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit.
Minimum Qualifications:Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a registered nurse in New York State and two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience in an acute care specialty area.
Preferred Qualifications:Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. 6-12 months of RN experience preferred for this position, however, new-to-practice nurses will also be considered. This position actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.
Work Days:Per diem - Days with rotating start times
