The Administrative Assistant provides patient friendly service graciously, efficiently, and confidentially. This role is fluid based upon the need of the practice. Tasks can fluctuate to meet the operational needs of the clinic at any given time.
Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and two years of administrative/office management experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of medical practice and medical terminology preferred.
Previous experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
Excellent organizational skills are required.
Excellent telephone skills required. Candidate must be capable of communicating with various types of people (patients, physicians, hospital staff, laboratory personal, etc.)
Candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and change quickly from one type of task to another (e.g., answering phones and making an appointment at the same time.)
Candidate must attend mandatory in service trainings and staff meetings.
