This position must present a positive and helpful image to all callers and perform a wide variety of call center services to assist patients, internal, and external callers. This position is split equally between Ambulatory Call Center: follows department call handling guidelines, schedules appointments in Epic, document calls in Epic and General Call Center duties. The representative must be proficient with multiple software programs for call processing, documentation, and communication, and must adapt to new technologies as they are introduced.
Associate's degree and two years of relevant health care or call center experience (preferably in a hospital or medical call center setting), or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and computer skills required.
Knowledge of medical terminology, hands-on experience with multi-line or call center phone systems, and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
0800-1630 holidays and alternating weekends
