Job Summary:
The Associate Director supports the Director in hospital administration, overseeing UM, CDI, and hospital medicine, by providing budgetary oversight, fiscal reporting, contracts and MOUs, metric forecasting, and reporting. The role manages the Hospital Track of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, the observation program, and the department's administrative staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overall administration, operational management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring effective staff scheduling to support the department's 24/7 service scheduling coverage and may be required to provide on-call support. Other responsibilities are performed as needed to support departmental operations and organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years experience in an administrative/ supervisory capacity
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Business Administration or related
Work Days:
Monday-Friday, Days with some weekend nights and evenings
