Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration or eligible and ARRT (or must obtain w/in one year of appointment), current CPR certification, and registration certification for Contrast Injection (or must obtain w/in 3 months of appointment) and one year experience as a radiologic technologist required.
*Candidates who possess an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license or eligible, and no experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position. Registration certificate for contrast injection preferred (required within 3 months of appointment date).
