Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary | Provide mentorship, teaching, and clinical oversight to the residents; support scholarly productivity among residents. Assist in the recruitment and selection of residents following ACGME guidelines. Maintain collaborative relationships with peer educators; assist in resident assessment and progression; contribute to the success of strategic missions of the department and institution. 50% clinical and 50% academic. |

| Minimum Qualifications | Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program. Board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine. Current, unrestricted medical license in New York, or ability to obtain.Valid controlled substance registration with the New York board of Pharmacy & DEA. |
