Work Week: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Evenings and Weekends as needed)

Summary:

Candidate must understand IT operations, theories, principles, practices, and hardware. Must have technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and/or supporting Windows servers, Networks, Wireless, Storage, and Telecommunications. Also, a knowledge of Cyber Security tools, AV, and patching.

Duties, Responsibilities, Areas of Focus, and ability to assist with the following:

  • Microsoft Server in a virtual environment
  • VMware
  • Nutanix
  • Citrix
  • Cyber Security Tools and Patching (Sentinel One, Syxsense, Mimecast, Umbrella)
  • Phone system (Zoom, Teams)
  • Backups (Commvault, Veeam)
  • Monitoring server health and maintain satisfactory levels of service
  • Monitoring network and related hardware
  • Understanding of Domain Controllers, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy
  • Maintain and review contracts with vendors
  • Contribute to strategic planning for growth and right sizing

Some areas mentioned are vendor supported and/or maintained. In those cases, the candidate would need to have the ability to manage the effort and tasks, keep the vendor on point, maintain documentation as to the progress of the engagement, and summarize on completion.

Education & Experience:
Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or closely related real world job experience, or equivalent combination.

Pay Range: $70,000 to $90,000 (based on experience)
