Work Week: Full Time - Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
This position will be working out of our Spine Center at 5719 Widewaters Parkway.
Job Responsibilities:
Exhibits a pleasant telephone voice and good people skills, professionalism.
Pleasantly services patient’s questions and appointment needs at check out, answers phones, and schedules patient’s appointments within SOS abiding by spine scheduling guidelines.
Work to include accurately inputting & updating patient demographic and insurance information that is attached to appointment, upon scheduling.
Prepare patient for a productive visit by informing them of necessary requirements for their appointment such as images, electronic check in, referral, insurance cards, records, etc.
Knowledge of Veradigm and Allscripts E.H.R a plus but not required.
Has ability to comprehend instructions, communicate well, pay attention to details and the capability of handling a busy day while maintaining a calm disposition.
Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills with referring provider offices, our Physicians, co-workers and patients.
Must be able to multitask and remain organized using proper grammar in task messages.
Properly schedules appointments with our providers timely, following spine guidelines.
Exhibits the ability to exercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and procedures when scheduling appointment and sending task messages.
Separates and sorts incoming faxes.
Represents SOS in a positive manner, abiding by CORE fundamentals.
Excellent communication and interaction skills required.
