We have a full time position for a NYS licensed x-ray technologist. Become an essential member of our exceptional healthcare team and perform medical imaging duties in our modern facilities.
The standard full time work schedule is 8 hours a day Monday–Friday, between the hours of 7:30AM-5:00PM.
4-day workweek options are also available and can be discussed with the hiring supervisor for what might work best for you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide optimum patient care and performs quality diagnostic x-ray procedures in busy private orthopedic clinics and ASC setting.
- Prepares patients for radiographic procedures by assessing patient needs and providing patient education.
- Uses PACS and EHR to properly document procedures.
- Performs routine Quality Control procedures.
- Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
- Practices safety measures using ALARA and company protocols and procedures.
- Applies the profession’s codes of ethics in all aspects of practice.
- Maintains clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Remains flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the department, including traveling to various SOS offices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $30.40 to $43.00
