| Job Description | The College of Professional Studies seeks a non-tenure track faculty member (Professor of Practice) to teach and provide student-centered leadership for our growing online, credit-bearing offerings in Project Management, including both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, undergraduate and graduate certificate programs, and a minor. Qualified applicants will be capable of teaching, designing, and developing online courses in Project Management at all levels. This full-time, 12-month position includes teaching and service, plus activity in the field through involvement in professional associations, consulting, and/or research. |
| Qualifications | Candidates must possess a relevant graduate degree (PhD preferred) and experience teaching in this field of study. Candidates must hold PMI PMP certification. The College of Professional Studies requires practitioner experience and favors candidates with demonstrated excellence in online instruction and course development. |

| Responsibilities | - Teach and/or develop ten online courses/sections per year, which could also include non-credit professional courses as approved by the Dean’s office. - Serve as faculty mentor to students in Project Management; participate in commencement ceremonies; offer affinity building events and major-specific career development workshops/seminars - Work with program director to achieve and maintain PMI Global Accreditation Center status for the College. - Collect and report data for annual program/accreditation reviews; annual course and program learning outcomes reporting; program mapping; shared competency mapping and reporting. - Serve on College Curriculum Committee. |
