| Job Description | The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Syracuse University is recruiting a full-time tenure-track faculty member in Speech-Language Pathology at the rank of Assistant Professor. Preferred areas of expertise include voice disorders and dysphagia. Other areas of expertise will be considered depending on the qualifications of the candidate, including motor speech disorders, craniofacial disorders, AAC, and other areas of research focus. POSITION: Full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in a research-oriented academic program offering BS, MS, AuD, AuD/PhD and PhD degrees. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong undergraduate and graduate-level teaching skills, a research agenda, and research productivity commensurate with rank. This is a full-time 8.5-month faculty position with eligibility for tenure and promotion. Compensation is nationally competitive. |
| Qualifications | PhD in speech-language pathology or related area; CCC-SLP desirable. Preference will be given to a candidate with research interests in one or more of the following areas: dysphagia, voice disorders, AAC, motor speech disorders, and/or cleft palate. |
