Job Description | The Manager of Multimedia serves as a key leader within Syracuse University’s creative team and a key liaison to the digital team. The Manager of Multimedia oversees a team of digital content creators (shooters/editors) and works closely with the managers of video and photography to assign additional resources as needed (motion graphic designers, producers, photographers, videographers, editors). This role is responsible for capturing/editing video & photography, as well as working with the executive director of Multimedia on process and deliverables, and ensuring alignment with broader strategic goals. The Manager is responsible for day-to-day oversight of a multimedia team skilled in photography and video production, with a focus on producing timely/relevant digital content. The Manager works in lockstep with the content/digital teams to bring to life, in compelling ways, multimedia stories/content related to people, activities, and information that is relevant to key audiences. Responsible for stewarding the Syracuse University brand by bringing it to life through effective, compelling and consistent multimedia storytelling and content generation that aims to galvanize target audience in service of advancing University goals and priorities. |
