Job Description | The Department of Film and Media Arts within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach APH 263 Art Photography: Advanced Digital Imaging, a three credit hour course, during the Spring semester 2025. Teach a photography course designed to give students the skills to employ the latest techniques in digital imaging. Topics covered include: digital workflow, advanced color corrections, compositing techniques, color management, color profilin and inkjet printing. Qualifications | Candidate have a BFA degree, with some college-level teaching experience |
Job Specific Qualifications | Candidate must a significant knowledge and study of photography, including deep expertise in all aspects of digital image post-production; image capture, image processing, fine art digital inkjet printing and best practices for saving and organizing digital image files. deep knowledge of adobe photoshop, bridge and light room. |
Responsibilities | Candidate must be a practicing artists with an understanding of the contemporary practice of art photography, thorough knowledge of digital photographic practice and digital printing and output techniques, and deep familiarity with all programs and equipment currently in use in the APH basement digital lab.
