Job Description | The Academic Operations Manager for the New York Architecture Program at the Fisher Center will interface with members of our vibrant academic community including a cohort of 20-30 undergraduate students, a faculty of 6-8 architecture professors and instructors, invited critics, lecturers and guests, mentors from across the professional landscape of architecture in New York City, and the facility’s operations team. The Academic Operations Manager works closely with the Architecture Program Director who is based at the Fisher Center and collaborates remotely with multiple team members who are based on the University’s main campus. The Academic Operations Manager is supported locally by three part-time student assistants whom they oversee directly. The Academic Operations Manager will be involved in the development of architecture programming including workshops, public events and exhibitions of student work. They will also support the program’s course delivery including specialized courses; such as the NYC mentorship and internship programs. Finally, the Academic Operations Manager will provide a range of administrative support which ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the program. This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United. |
