Job Description | The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in the online undergraduate Strategic Communications program. This position is a full-time teaching position beginning in July 2025. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction and contribute to course development, program administration, and student mentorship in this rapidly growing program. The position involves teaching 8 courses annually on an 8-week term schedule, contributing to course development, and supporting the overall program through service and administration duties. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Strategic Communications, particularly in an online teaching environment, and a strong commitment to student success and engagement. |
Qualifications | A minimum of a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications or a closely related field. A doctoral degree is preferred. |
