| Job Description | To provide quality comprehensive care for Competitive Club Sport students through prevention, evaluation, care and treatment of injuries and illnesses and assist with injury rehabilitation. Screening and referral of club sport participants to physicians at the Barnes Center when appropriate. Serve as the certified athletic trainer for Club Sports including practice and home game coverage. Compile and maintain injury and treatment documentation for Syracuse University medical staff. Assist with upkeep of the facilities, emergency equipment and modalities. Communicate with Competitive Club Sports staff on various issues, including student-athlete status, restrictions and treatment/rehabilitation appointment compliance. Evening and weekend hours required. |
