| Pay Determination | Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months’ salary unless otherwise specified. |

| Job Description | The Department of Film and Media Arts within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach FMA 155.1 Intro to Film and Media Arts: Film Making, a three-credit hour course, during the spring 2026 semester. Introductory filmmaking course for non-majors. Covers all the basic elements of filmmaking from script writing to final product. In this class students will be encouraged to think both critically and practically about the creative practices. This is a studio course. Students will be making films.
