The Inventory Department maintains the health and organization of our inventory to better serve our internal and external customers.

What you will accomplish:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for providing leadership for inventory activities, including physical inventory, standards setting and variance reporting and analysis. The Inventory Analyst works cross functionally to maintain and improve the integrity of the inventory processes and systems.
Inventory Planning - Work collaboratively with the operations leadership and opex department with purchasing on strategic plans to improve service levels for our customers and to maximize the fulfillment of orders through TCGplayer Direct
Build and support systems for inventory cycle counts
Review results and monitor for inventory trends
Perform Root Cause Analysis and Impact Analysis on inventory trends
Track Inventory discrepancies and adjustments and report to appropriate stakeholders
Review data and perform Root Cause Analysis
Maintaining the status of SYP, RI and Buylist inventory to be sure they are in the appropriate state within our system
Perform Root Cause Analysis and work cross functionally to implement corrective actions on deviations
Interface with TCGplayer FC Technology Team on the Following:
Mapping of products in the facility to maintain ideal structure for Direct product lines
Continuous Improvement projects to enhance how inventory is Monitored and Maintained
Inventory layout optimization
Train with Merchandise Operations Analyst for day-to-day operations coverage
Assist with Inventory Specialist II/III Production Support responsibilities as recognized Advisor
Teach your specialty to those around you and help team members in their pursuit of knowledge
Take on special projects as needed in order to help our customers or to help us grow TCGplayer
This role is expected to drive change and improvement independently and collaboratively with only indirect supervision
What you will bring:

Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with the use of web forms, Google Docs and Excel
Strong overall computer skills with an emphasis in spreadsheets usage
Familiarity with new release cycles for the gaming industry
Ability to promptly answer support-related emails, phone calls and other electronic communications
Data Analytics and ability to deduce patterns and trends from large data sets, etc.
General problem solving and root cause analysis
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
Process design and documentation creation experience
Continual Improvement mindset
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within TCGplayer.
Expert level knowledge of excel and/or google sheets formulas
Working knowledge of Javascript
1-2 years experience utilizing Google apps scripts
Proficiency in Google Suite with proven ability to create and maintain new process workflows
Experience working within various e-commerce fulfillment and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Business or Technology preferred
Basic Python and Excel Macro coding proficiency
Github experience
SQL Familiarity
Python Familiarity
Knowledge of hobby games like Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
