JOB SUMMARY:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing all routine and required maintenance including: installation of new equipment to meet production needs, trouble shooting and repairing of existing facility equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician follows schedules and assignments and verifies completion of all maintenance work required to keep the facility in a reliable and safe condition. This position must read, functionally understand, and apply all relevant regulatory codes/requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A High School Diploma or GED plus 1-year experience in manufacturing facility.
Must possess and demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge within the following fields: mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and write routine reports, procedures and correspondences.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must apply common sense understanding to dictate and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to problem solve involving several variables in work life situations.
