Earnings Potential: $80,000 – $150,000+ (base + commissions)
Thompson & Johnson Equipment is growing our Northeast Dock & Door (NEDD) division and we’re looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to help lead and scale this exciting part of our business.
This is a unique player/coach role — you’ll manage your own sales territory while recruiting, coaching, and building a high-performing team. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys selling, mentoring others, and building something from the ground up with the support of an established, stable company behind you.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow your own sales territory
- Prospect, quote, negotiate, and close new business
- Recruit, coach, and develop NEDD Sales Representatives
- Drive revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Partner with Service and Operations teams to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Help shape the future of a growing division
What We’re Looking For
- Strong B2B or industrial/equipment sales experience. Dock & door, construction, or service-based sales experience is a plus.
- Leadership or coaching experience preferred
- Self-motivated, organized, and results driven
- Strong communication, organization, and closing skills
- Comfortable managing pipelines and using CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Team-first mindset with strong customer focus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory
