Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Integrator to install, service, and support commercial electronic security systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Axis Communications, Avigilon, DMP, and Honeywell systems and is comfortable working with electronic access control systems and electronic locking hardware in commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and service IP video surveillance systems (Axis Communications, Avigilon, Exacq)
- Install and service intrusion detection systems (DMP, Honeywell)
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic access control systems (S2, Keri, Alta)
- Install electronic locking hardware including electric strikes, mag locks, electrified hinges, DPS, and REX devices
- Perform cable pulls, terminations, labeling, and testing (Cat5/6, low-voltage wiring)
- Configure cameras, controllers, panels, and networked devices
- Read and interpret drawings, risers, and project specifications
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
- Complete accurate documentation and service reports
- Follow safety standards and installation best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an electronic security technician or integrator
- Hands-on experience with Axis Communications, Avigilon, DMP, and Honeywell systems
- Strong working knowledge of electronic access control systems
- Experience installing commercial electronic locking hardware
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturer certifications (Axis, Avigilon, DMP, Honeywell)
- Experience in commercial, healthcare, or government environments
- Knowledge of low-voltage codes and best practices
- Lift certification or experience operating lifts
- Strong customer service and communication skills
