About the Role
We are looking for a Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will be maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with Polish accounting standards and corporate financial policies. This position also plays a key part in the implementation of a new ERP system (SAP/START), identifying process gaps, and driving continuous improvement.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to process optimization, and support both daily operations and strategic initiatives. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to take on a challenging role within an international organization, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the implementation of our new ERP system (SAP/START)
Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to the improvement of accounting workflows
Ensure compliance with Polish accounting standards and internal corporate policies
Process supplier invoices and post accounting documents in line with local and internal procedures
Collaborate with operations, project teams, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting
Prepare journal entries, conduct monthly account reconciliations, and analyze account activity
Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Provide feedback to optimize and standardize accounting processes
Assist the Finance Controller with daily tasks, projects, and the implementation of new financial tools
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role within an international company
Strong command of English (spoken and written)
Fluent in Polish both spoken and written
Practical knowledge of accounting principles, tax/VAT law, and auditing practices
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A mindset focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation
Preferred Competencies:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with Polish GAAP and IFRS
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
Experience working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
