Job Requirements Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
As a Concierge at The Lodge, you'll be the friendly face that helps make our guests' stay unforgettable. You'll assist with everything from restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements to recommending local attractions and activities. Your day will involve greeting guests warmly, addressing their inquiries, and fulfilling their requests with a smile. With your excellent communication and problem-solving skills, combined with a deep knowledge of The Lodge's amenities and the local area, you'll ensure each guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Your personal touch and dedication to exceptional service will play a key role in creating a delightful and memorable experience for every guest.
Your day-to-day as a Concierge with us:
- Efficiently coordinates various services for Lodge guests, including (but not limited to) arranging reservations, transportation & travel arrangements, making recommendations for leisure & entertainment, and answering all guest questions.
- Is always a visible presence in the Front Desk area of the Hotel Lobby to warmly greet guests as they arrive. Offers assistance to guests before being asked.
- Consistently goes above and beyond required duties to ensure superior and personalized guest service for all Lodge guests.
- Always provides support for the Reception Desk by assisting the Front Desk Supervisor and Receptionists in their daily activities.
- Always ensures that package components (ex. flowers, candy, etc.) and other special guest requests are taken care of.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the LMS system and routinely enhances proficiency by becoming familiar with any new system upgrades (Familiarity of this system is crucial to the support of the Front Desk function).
- Maintains a close professional relationship with outside vendors, Casino Credit Hosts, Club Two One Concierge, Golf, & Skana Spa to insure proper communication in regard to all guest needs and requests.
- Provides warm, friendly, and professional service to all VIP guests. Follows procedure in providing personalized itinerary and personally escorting guests to their suite. Follows up escort with courtesy call and offers name and extension for further assistance.
- Is well informed of all area events, entertainment, and popular local destinations, specifically those that are upscale. Is able to make recommendations easily and effectively when asked.
- Utilizes consistently sound judgment when issuing complimentary goods and services and avoids any perception of conflict of interest.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all Resort restaurants, spa services, golf courses, gaming departments, retail shops and other amenities. Routinely suggests arrangement of reservations for internal dining, entertainment, and services.

Work Experience To be successful as a Concierge, you'll need:
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Four to five years of experience working in a guest service environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required, A.S. or B.S. degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience in hotel or resort setting.
- Knowledge of the local area, attractions, and restaurants is a must.
- Must be proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, & online navigation.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations is necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 lbs.
