The Housekeeping Training Coordinator leads housekeeping training for new and existing staff across all shifts, ensuring alignment with service standards and procedures. Tracks progress, maintains records, and supports performance improvement while partnering with leadership and HR.
What does a Housekeeping Training Coordinator do?:
- Coordinates and delivers housekeeping training for new and current staff across all shifts and hotel buildings.
- Partners with Executive Housekeeper to develop and maintain ongoing training programs and materials.
- Leads training on new technology, policies, and AAA/Forbes service standards.
- Tracks training progress, maintains records, and provides reports on employee performance and comprehension.
- Conducts audits and targeted training to improve service standards and address performance gaps.
- Communicates schedules and updates effectively while maintaining strong collaboration with HR Training.
- Adapts training style to meet diverse learning needs and works flexible hours to support all shifts.

Work Experience
To be successful as a Housekeeping Training Coordinator, you'll need:
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in a related field preferred.
- Prior training experience required; experience with adult learning principles preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; LMS/Property Management System experience preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across all levels; self-motivated, adaptable team player.
